Tierra Maya features two fascinating and iconic Central American ingredients for perfumers: balsam of Peru and cardamom. El Salvador is the only country to produce Peruvian balsam resin on the Costa Balsamera, thanks to an ancestral know-how handed down from generation to generation. Guatemala is renowned for the quality of its cardamom, which is grown throughout the country. In this perfume, perfumer Ilias Ermenidis places Peruvian balsam at the centre of the fragrance. It brings depth to a modern amber accord, complemented by musks and a long list of beautiful natural ingredients. The highest quality green cardamom extracts are included in a signature bouquet of cold and warm spices. A duo of centifolia and damascena rose extracts have been incorporated to give an addictive touch.
