This perfume from Mizensir was born from a sensation felt at a precise moment of the year. An olfactory perception that makes a perfumer in love with nature and his garden happy. Simple but delicious, fleeting but unforgettable... Winter has just ended, the cold remains but the first rays of spring are here. This is the moment when the citrus fruits that have been in the orangery come out again. Bringing out the lemon and orange trees, what could be more trivial for a gardener? But for perfumer Alberto Morillas, this familiar gesture is one of the most fragrant ever. And one of the most delicate. The Vert Empire eau de parfum is an evocation of this, in a composition with an aromatic and zesty vivacity. Citrus fruits are perceived among the leaves thanks to the essences of mandarin and petit grain. The morning freshness, underlined by paradisone and a touch of cardamom. Then, little by little, the smell of the earth mixed with that of the tree gains in woody intensity with a hint of minerality. It is brought by the alliance of sandalwood and ambrox with angelica and sage. Like a guardian giving the guiding line, this note signs the whole composition, finding its way between the green of the foliage and the sweet bitterness of the fruits. The perfumer's word: 'I wanted to propose another idea of freshness, more vegetal, more familiar too and without going towards Cologne. I was therefore inspired by the green and natural vivacity of my garden at the end of winter. I also had in mind another place, famous for its beauty and history, the orangery of the Château de Malmaison. The name, Vert Empire, and the design of the perfume are a tribute to it. Beyond this, I truly believe that everyday scents can offer wonderful olfactory leads to a perfumer. All it takes is attention to detail, to keep your senses on alert like a musician straining for a few notes.'
