But here, renowned perfumer Alberto Morillas gets to the very heart of the wood, as if zooming in on the material, exploring its richness, its power, its magic. Alaskan cedar, with its mineral and leathery inflections, remains the main protagonist, while revealing a new vivacity with cardamom and an almost liquor-like depth with rum. The contrast between these two extremes is exacerbated, and the floral and amber notes that round out the composition are expressed with greater intensity. The memory of this wood returns with greater force and mystery.
