New addition to EX NIHILO's Babylone Collection, this floral, woody and leathery eau de parfum is an intoxicating fragrance inspired by the utopian dream of French architect Le Corbusier. Picturesquely located at the foothills of Sivaliks, Chandigarh is known as one of the best experiments in the urban planning and modern architecture in the twentieth century in India. The Haute Parfumerie house wished to pay homage to the avant-garde spirit reflected by the city reinvented from scratch in nature, mixing European flair with Indian knot-how. A place where the local experts imbued the modernist design with the traditions of a secular country. Union between India and France where, alike bandmasters, Le Corbusier and Jeanneret designed this modernist utopia in the midst of a tropical jungle. CHANDIGARH EXPRESS is a journey through secular traditions and modernity. An immersion into a wide palette of exotic colours, textures and smells: cardamom, davana, jasmine, patchouli, vetiver and benzoin. The sublimated contrast of an oasis of vegetation and concrete, a fantasized creation with leathery facets.

• Perfumer Gaël Montero: after studying perfumery in Montpellier, he joined Givaudan as Jordi Fernendez's assistant in Barcelona. His international career will take him to Dubai, where he pulls inspiration from the Middle Eastern tendency to favour woody fragrances.
