A winter's tale, the fruit of the imagination of contemporary writer and poet Victor Pouchet, illustrated with surrealism and humour by the inspired Parisian illustrator and bookseller Vincent Puente. Artist with a bold and refined imagination, Inès Mélia, plays with shapes and materials to breathe narrative life into everyday decorative objects that are transformed and poetic. The story begins in a bookshop in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, a few days before the holidays. The bookseller and his mischievous and highly literate cat Archibald discover the strange power of attraction of a small pine cone dipped, following one of Archibald's pranks, in the shimmering wax of a scented candle.
